Wild Horse Rescue Center

We rescue, rehabilitate, and find new homes for mustangs and burros while providing educational clinics and seminars to the public. We are based in Webster, Florida. We are a non-profit rescue and rehabilitation center, and we rely on volunteers, sponsorships, donations, and adoptions to provide care for our wonderful mustang rescues.

Black Hills Wild Horse Sanctuary

The sanctuary was created as a nonprofit organization to provide and maintain a permanent private home for America’s unwanted wild horses. IRAM’s goal of saving the American Wild Mustang also includes the preservation of endangered wild horse bloodlines of the resident mustang bands. This includes the Spanish, Choctaw Indian, Curly, and American Mustangs.

Sky Mountain Wild Horse Sanctuary

At the heart of the sanctuary is the vision of wild places where wild horses live free and thrive as part of a healthy ecosystem. Through creating connections between wildlife, wild land, and humans, a better world is possible.

Montana’s Wild Horse Sanctuary

The purpose of this organization is multifaceted: primarily, to acquire the Mustangs from the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) holding pens. The Mustangs exhibiting promising temperament will experience gentle handling with natural horsemanship methods to ready them for adoption.

Montgomery Creek Ranch (MCR)

MCR is a 2,000-acre sanctuary for wild horses in Northern California. There are currently over 200 wild horses living in the big herd forever free, and 20-30 younger horses in training on site. We are developing a facility that will accommodate programs and visitors at the ranch.

Front Range Equine Rescue

Front Range works with a northern Colorado rescue organization to save at-risk horses from the slaughter pipeline. Horses are kept at a private farm under the supervision of Shiloh Acres Horse Rescue.

Shiloh Rescue Ranch on the Prairie

Shiloh has rescued and rehabilitated over 700 horses, the majority of them rescued from slaughter. In 2019, Jill Curtis-Weber, Todd Weber, and Sally VandenBerg moved the rescue and all the Shiloh animals up South Dakota.
